Anaiah Dupont-Spencer is a young caregiver who has always had a passion for creative writing and mental health from an early age. She has merged her personal life and work experiences within her novels, to create books that open up conversation about taboo topics. Anaiah has been writing from age 12 onwards, from novels to poetry, and is studying forensic psychology. Through juggling a degree and full-time employment for the NHS, she still makes time to fulfil her writing and creative desires.

about the book

Things only get worse to get better – because they do. This book delves into the reality of the effects of mental health and the feelings aroused by the various, individual conditions. Unsettling, uncomfortable, unspoken – yet, everyday life for many. An all-round taboo topic that affects hundreds of thousands daily. Despite the short- and long-term effects of mental health, it doesn’t have to be an experience of permanence. Therefore, this book explores self-help references to show that a positive outcome is always possible. Depression, anxiety and anger can lead to contentment, confidence and control. Bringing this topic to light is a step away from silent suffering and one towards a solution for any and all.
